Signs that your cat is sick<\/span><\/h2>\n

Now it is time to ask ourselves, do we know exactly if our cat is in good health? It is of vital importance to detect the symptoms before our pet’s life is at risk, as we will point out below:<\/span><\/p>\n

Sleep more than usual <\/span><\/h3>\n

The average time cats sleep is around 12 hours a day. Of course, this will vary according to his personality; if he is sleepy he will sleep more hours, but if he is restless he will sleep less hours. Whatever his personality is, if you notice any change in your cat’s sleeping hours, this could be a warning sign, since he could be incubating a disease.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Not eating well <\/span><\/h3>\n

If your cat is not eating as usual or just trying a bite, it is a warning sign (something is wrong with your pet’s health). This symptom may possibly be linked to your pet having a kidney or stomach problem or being in a feverish state.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Excessive scratching<\/span><\/h3>\n

In the event that you observe your pet licking or scratching excessively, it is alerting you to a problem related to a skin condition<\/a>. If this symptom is observed, it is recommended to consult a veterinarian you trust so that he\/she can tell you what treatment you should give your pet. <\/span><\/p>\n

4. You do not hydrate constantly<\/span><\/h3>\n

Hydration is vital, especially in the summer season. Hydration in cats is a fundamental element for their health. If you notice that your cat is not constantly hydrating, it is a sign that something is wrong with him, and may be related to kidney disease, infections or glandular problems.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Your cat’s fur loses its properties<\/span><\/h3>\n

The coat of cats clearly indicate their state of health, if you notice that it has lost its luster, falls out, tangles frequently is a sign that your cat is sick. This symptom is linked to the fact that your cat may be suffering from stress or is suffering from some other illness.<\/span><\/p>\n
