Fleas are wingless insects<\/strong> that jump enormous distances, parasites that by themselves only cause itching and discomfort although they can transmit diseases they carry such as allergic dermatitis, an infection that occurs because the dog’s skin is allergic<\/strong> to the flea. Other diseases they can transmit are taeniasis, bubonic plague and worms.<\/p>\n

Therefore, if the dog has fleas, it should be treated as soon as possible. Fleas are difficult to see at first glance, but their droppings<\/strong> can be seen on the dog’s skin and coat. When the dog has fleas, you will see small<\/strong> dark spots<\/strong> that turn red when wet.<\/p>\n
