But sometimes you will need to bathe your cat and it is good to know how to do it so that it is at least a bearable experience. This is in case your cat gets very dirty or comes into contact with a substance that makes it necessary to clean it. If you put too much water in it, you may scare your cat. In addition, water may spill.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Use a special shampoo that does not contain perfumes or chemicals. Avoid using human shampoo, as it is not suitable for the PH of cats.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Place the feline in the tub and apply a small amount of shampoo. Avoid the eye and ear area. It will be easier if you dedicate yourself to washing a specific part of the cat&#8217;s body than washing the whole thing. If it is necessary to wash it completely, shampoo the whole body.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It may be easier to apply the shampoo if you place it outside the bathtub and put the cat on the towel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After the soap has worked, you will need to rinse it off. For this you can use a jug of warm water. Again, avoid the eye and ear area.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dry the cat in a warm room and do not let it out until it is thoroughly dry. In general, cats tend to shake off excess water. After that, continue drying it until any trace of moisture is removed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Unless you are used to the noise from a very young age, the use of a hair dryer is not recommended. Noise can annoy you a lot<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you notice that your cat suffers a lot with the bath and tries to bite or scratch you, do not insist.
