However, there are some subtle signs that will let you know if your cat is in pain.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is important to be aware of these signs in order to take appropriate action. Pets are part of the family, and as such, we should pay attention to their signs and behaviors to detect if something is wrong. Although cats are very independent animals, they can also suffer pain from time to time. Therefore, it is important that we know how to detect the signs that indicate that our cat is sick.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Signs that your cat is in pain<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here are some signs a cat might show when it is in pain.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Changes in posture: A cat in pain may adopt a hunched or tense posture. It can keep its back arched and its front and hind legs together for protection.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Slow or limited movements: If you notice that your cat moves more slowly or carefully, or avoids certain movements that he used to do normally, it could be a sign of pain.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Changes in appetite: Pain can affect a cat&#8217;s appetite. They may eat less or avoid eating altogether.
